This site is about putting maths into action for one of the most important challenges facing us: transtioning to a sustainable way of living.

We believe that maths is a tool for helping students to make sense of their world  and what better task than using maths to understand the sutainability challenge.

We offer a wide range of  open-ended maths problems for teachers to offer their students, as well as some advice for teachers on how to use the problems in lessons.  We are building up a glossary and data bank to assist you with your lessons.

This service is offered free as a contribution to our children’s lives by STEPHEN HINTON CONSULTING read more about the organisation at http://stephenhinton.org
